Albert Einstein once said “those who have the privilege to know, have the duty to act” I choose to support veganism for I am aware the cruelty behind factory farming, for the environment because 30% of greenhouse gas released came from animal agriculture exceeding land transportation in total, and for my body is a “temple” not a “graveyard”.
My speech do not intend to create a thicker barrier or emphasize the superiority of vegans. Because WE can all make a difference simply by reducing meat consumption or eliminating animal products. For 10 people who do “no meat mondays” could create a greater impact compared to just 1 person being a strict vegan. I want to encourage everyone to be aware, to acknowledge the simplest things such as what’s on your plate, where your clothes came from (leather, fur). To be compassionate to all beings that roam the earth. .
Whether you are vegan for health, ethics, vegetarians, pescatarians, still transitioning, or non vegans, we can gradually change this world into a better, kinder place to live! YOU matter, I matter, the earth matters, for the future of our mother earth!
