One of the first things I realised when I lost my hair was that I felt as if I needed to make more effort with make up, call it grasping at femininity, call it “please don’t think I’m a man” call it whatever. I’ve never wore lipstick and all of a sudden my drawer is full of them!!! 💄 I’m not saying it’s right or wrong just that was how I felt personally but I’m always worried about looking overdone. I’ve never been one to really experiment much with makeup, and just stick to what I know but trying new things has really helped in accepting and building confidence in what is a pretty bold look, pulling off a bald head as a woman can be quite difficult especially if it doesn’t really fit with your personality but WOW have I learnt a thing of 2 from some of you amazing ladies on here. So here’s to stepping out of your comfort zone every now and then (get me glitter shadow cut crease 💁🏼♀️) small steps and all that.
