I just made a post on my Instagram story last night about our dinner after Brian's show (a massive pizookie, plus some chips and queso I didn't photograph, and a salad) and followed it up with my breakfast this morning (egg white omelette with hash browns and wheat toast). I made a very clear distinction that was this:
It's not "omg back on my diet today" --> it's "back to my normal routine today." -
I've been in the place where I ate something that either didn't fit my macros, was way over my calories, or was just not something I planned to eat- and then felt like I needed to "fix" what I did the next day. I felt worried, guilty, and itching to get back to my "diet.""
But now, I have learned the importance of simply getting back to a normal routine that I've built for myself. Although I'm on a "cut" (in a caloric deficit in order to lose body fat) my MINDSET toward fat loss is so incredibly different than what it's been in the past. My habits toward eating are what make me feel good, allow me to have sustainability, and keep me in a positive place mentally and physically. #ProjectMe #Phase1 has been something that has allowed me to not just view a diet as a means to just look better for a show (or Instagram - lolz) but to FEEL good. To FEEL confident. To FEEL alive, energetic, athletic, and overall healthy. I'll be doing a full update this week on YouTube. Changes are about to be made. Hope everyone has an awesome Sunday :) #ProjectMe #Phase1 #ItsALifestyle #SundayFunday #BestSelf
