Even on my first day of vacation I am repping my profession for my workout
Why you may ask?
Because I went to school for 6.5 years for this. I studied for HOURS for this. I applied to NINE graduate programs for this. I cried from stress for this. I completed four internships for this. I am in debt for this. I sacrificed for this. I had to prove myself for this. I gave countless presentations, completed group projects, and stood up in front of people to complete my final project for this. I stayed in the on campus clinic for HOURS getting materials ready, researching on latest techniques, writing reports, and giving assessments for this
I am proud to be a speech language pathologist. I love that this profession allows me to help individuals at all ability levels communicate more effectively. I am challenged intellectually every single day and constantly learn new techiques and ideas for therapy and treatment. I get to use my passion for humanity to do work that literally feeds my soul
Here's something I have been struggling with this school year though. I have to constantly remind myself of this
⏬⏬⏬⏬⏬⏬⏬⏬⏬⏬⏬ If you are in your clinical fellow year, a new SLP with their CCC'S or a seasoned SLP.....here's a little reminder that it is okay that you don't have all the answers🙌🙏💪😘
