As I’m filling out my grad school application, I was asked to write about my 3 greatest accomplishments in life. Taking the time to reflect upon your successes and accomplishments is actually a unique opportunity. We typically reflect upon the harder parts of life and think about how we can change those situations. But, to actually think back about how we’ve been successful is something entirely different. For me, it actually took awhile to come up with my 3 best things I’ve done in my life. One of those is actually facing a fear of stepping on a stage to be judged. This is completely abnormal, my natural instinct is to hide and not be the center of attention but in the world of competing it’s almost like acting. When I’m on that stage I have to be sassy and confident. Why is this an accomplishment for me? I was always a shy person growing up, so this took a lot of courage for me to work as hard as I did and to then get up on a stage and be judged upon that work and the level I pushed my body to. We should be changing the way we think and reflect on all the positive in life, I believe this is what mentality shift that is needed. What are your accomplishments👇🏼?
