Astronomers, scientists, mathematicians, astrologers, navigators--from ancient times until today gaze at the stars for answers and direction, present and future, to life's mysteries.
Yet the bigger question behind "reading" stars is "Who created the stars?" "Who oversees the stars that so faithfully hold their celestial positions--day after day, year after year, decade after decade, millennia after millennia?" At seasonal times, from anywhere on the planet, #orionsbelt is seen plainly in the sky. In 2017 AD I can see it from the #southeastern United States. And the same exact stars were used to position the Great Pyramids of Giza built in Egypt 2560-2540 BC.
"Who made these?" Many embrace the Big Bang theory, which has it merits. But the question still remains who made the protons that collided to produce the Big Bang?
It is a mystery we probably won't know on this side of eternity. So until we reach the other side, I place my #faith in the #Creator of all things, the Lord God, the #Father of Jesus Christ. In God's #covenant with Noah, He promised: “While the earth remains, seedtime and harvest, cold and heat, summer and winter, day and night, shall not cease"
(Genesis 8:22). Certainly, Isaiah 40:26 is God's gentle reminder to His faithfulness which extends to all of His Creation.
