Just landed in Miami for a competition with my @teamedge1 clients!
During times of heavy workload and stressful life events, one can easily get lost in the struggle of simply getting through each day. The mind is so focused on solving problems every waking hour that those tiny moments of joy and victory completely pass us by. It's a sad reality that far too many people go through their whole lives like this; stressing without experiencing much happiness to reward all their hard work. For many years I found myself in this exact position - full steam ahead and with a tunnel vision that blocked out a lot of the light in my life - but as soon as I realized what I was doing( took years) , I vowed to change. Now, I wake up each morning with the mindset that I'll do what needs to be done, but I do it with the ultimate goal of happiness. I work hard for the freedom to see and appreciate the little things in life, but I don't stretch myself so thin that I miss out on all the fun. I am in my 5th fitness show back to back again that means I have been in a competition every weekend for the past 5 weeks but somehow I am doing ok and taking much needed relaxing time during the week to recover. If any of you are feeling like you're running on fumes lately, I really recommend meditating; it's helped me SO much in terms of winding down and becoming aware, I will share more about mediation in another post. You should try it!!

💯My mom didn't help me with my sport (bodybuilding) by driving me to and from practice a few hours a week. She prepped my meals and cooked for me twice a day for years on end when I started bodybuilding. Not to mention everything else through the years lol

❤️I think I'd have 20 pounds of muscle less if it wasn't for my moms support. She never questioned my passion for bodybuilding, just supported it

🔻Baue die Überkopf-Kniebeuge mit dem Band in dein warm up ein.

🔸Nehme hierfür ein leichtes Superband ( Rot , ca 12kg ) oder ein Flossband .

🔸Montiere das Band auf Kopfhöhe. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
🔸Beachte dabei dass deine Schulterblätter zusammen gezogen sind.

🔸Ziehe deine Schultern aktiv nach unten und drücke deinen Brustkorb heraus.
