Thirsty Thursday in Portland:
1. Rosé at the Top of the East (to get our bearings straight). 2. An iced coffee with Fruity Pebbles cereal milk and a tower shot from the Speckled Ax, which has amazing coffee and @ilporcito's favorite: grab and go cups of good black coffee in the morning (I liked the Ethiopian). 3. A "peach tartare" at Timber, an amazing steakhouse that's bringing bourbon to the northeast. We're coming back to Portland one day, even if it's just to have a full dinner here because the app here (steak with sous vide carrots, fried carrot pasta, carrot top pesto and pickled onions) was so. damn. good. and the staff was 👌🏽
4. Somehow, we managed to eat and drink more after our foodie tour during a stop into the Eventide Oyster Co. We chased our Demariscottas with Liquid Riot's Irish Goodbye Irish dry stout and Marshall Wharf Brewing's Pinchy Red Ale.
