Topic : You can't do everything, you need to prioritise what's important.
It's been gruelling 11 days, of working from 6.30am till 11.30am. The exhaustion is one thing, the mental strength to go through it, is another thing.
And sometimes things don't fall in place, you have an exam coming, hence you need to study, the hardest posting as your last one, at the same time you have to head to the gym. It doesn't end there, the whole CLEO most eligible bachelor thing is mixed into it.
I took a breather, to decide what's important
What I should prioritise
What I should sacrifice
What is going to help me in my future
What is the least significant in my life.
So, I chose my work, my studies and my healthy lifestyle.
Being a doctor, patients comes first, I come second. So, even if I worked such long hours continuously day in day out, what I do matters.
And, I only hit the gym twice the whole 12 days, and I told myself to come back stronger, but I still didn't fall back on my diet.
Pertaining the most eligible bachelor thing, I decided to not follow through on it, simply because it was the least of priority for me.
Yes, life isn't always perfect.
But, you can make it worth it, so that at the end of the day, you would be smiling, no matter how tough it gets, like the picture above.
I might be lacking of sleep, lacking time to socialise, lacking time to head to gym, but since the working hours has changed, it's time to start back again.
