Hit the gym tonight after work . Like the squat/deadlift video posted yesterday, 85% of my max was the most I was working up to. The sets you see where the weight goes up smooth, indicates that my form is tight and I’m executing the lift properly. You can see my chest deflate during some of these lifts and I get out of position. That destroys your lift technique, leg drive, and power quickly. There is more to remember while learning Bench Technique than any other lift. There are so many more variables to the bench compared to squat or deadlift alone. Have a good arch, back/traps tight, foot position, leg drive, head down, but down, traps tucked, elbows in, chest high, wrists in line with elbows, hold your breath, spread the bar, etc. Still learning and trying to improve my technique.
