Part 1 #📱
This a huge problem across many nations affecting not only children, friendships but marriages as well. Many of us have been guilty.
Nearly one-third of children feel unimportant 😢when their parents use their #cellphones during #mealtimes, #conversations, TV watching and playing outside, according to a recent study.
I'm old school. Mealtimes should be when a #family connects. We weren't even allowed to watch tv while eating dinner when we were young.
This video (swipe left) shows the shocking truth about what children feel about their parents using gadgets - it'll cause many parents to stop and think about their actions.
The children were speaking to researchers about who uses digital gadgets the most in their family home, and how it makes them feel.
Two little girls say that their dad #doesn't #listen to them when he's on his phone and they have to repeat themselves, while one girl says: "My mom spends all day on her computer and I #feel #sad because I won't get to play with her on a board game or something." A little boy adds that they're not giving him enough attention when they're on their #phones.
This can cause children to act out, future problems with self confidence, and issues with social behavior. .
#Marriages 👰🏽🤴🏿 .
📱75% of women admit #devices are ruining their relationships/marriages .
📱A quarter claim their partner has #texted during an important conversation . .
📖👑 Ecclesiasticus 11:8
Answer not before thou hast heard the cause: #neither #interrupt men in the #midst #of #their #talk.✨✨✨ Now we know when we were young, we used to get whoopins for interrupting our parents speaking. We know we don't interrupt while someone is talking. It's rude. But with the technology today, wouldn't you say that picking up your phone in the middle of an important convo is interrupting someone as well? 🤔
