Hello old kitchen👋🏻I know some of you miss her...did you know this kitchen is the reason why I joined IG? Almost 2 1/2 years ago I began documenting our kitchen renovation progress. As I shared our kitchen I began connecting with an amazing design community that embraced, supported, & encouraged me to share our progress and design decisions. July 2016 I began my blogging journey sharing the details of our kitchen & other home projects as we transformed our builder grade home to a more custom home we grew to love. Only 2 short years after we completed this kitchen renovation we were presented with an opportunity. While we had been searching for that perfect fixer upper home for our family we weren’t sure when we should make it happen. Life has a way of taking care of those decisions sometimes...needless to say we decided the time was right to say goodbye to this home and spent this past summer gutting a 70’s fixer upper that we plan on living in for many years. I will always have a special place in my heart for this kitchen and our previous home. I’m so glad I now have the opportunity to share our new home with you. You can find our old kitchen sources on the blog and one of my most popular posts in the link in profile. Do you notice some of the items I used again and I still have in our new kitchen?! #pinkdahlia#kitchenstyle#kitchenstyling#kitchenremodel#kitchendesign
Finally able to have our first (and probably last) fire of the season tonight. The first because finally, Tim Chimney came and retrieved our chimney balloon that was stuck after storm Eileen sucked it up! However, it’s likely to be our last because no matter what we do... raised pots, open windows, bungs etc, our dining room still fills with smoke! Anyone got any ideas?

I just planted paperwhite narcissus bulbs in pretty bowls to give as hostess gifts for the holiday. I am hoping they will be as pretty as these. I get so much pleasure out of watching them grow! Off to buy my turkey! Happy cooking IG friends! 📷 @southernlivingmag
My grandma's dining chairs re-covered in @anta_scotland fabric. They were definitely in need of some TLC and now look amazing! I'm all for upcyling, recycling and loving the good quality things that are so special and so scarce these days. We now come from such a throw away society. It's really sad 😢
