Saddington Baynes illustrated and created a two minute animation visualizing the traditional Japanese botanicals infused, distilled and blended by Japanese artisans of Suntory Spirits in Osaka, Japan for Roku Gin. With Roku's unique brand style, inspired by Japanese art, the Saddington Baynes team crafted this beautiful creative exploration, transitioning between each botanical and season, from sakura leaf and sakura flower for spring, sencha tea and gyokuro tea for summer to sansho pepper for autumn, before finishing with yuzu peel for winter.
