3 solo's in the jet now, and second check-ride complete today with an Instrument O&B to Naval Air Station & Alliance Fort Worth. It's crazy how fast this course is moving. Formation starts tomorrow! 🤘🏻
Back to visual flying today in the C182. Got to practice some bush flying skills, low level flying, identifying dirt and grass strips, touch and go’s, stop and go’s, preparing for life after training. I’ve now experienced how fun it is to land in between rows of trees and the side of hills on curved strips!

The weather forecast never called for the shit my instructor and I flew through. Today went from flight review training to instrument training in a heart beat. We had to file IFR back into Sanford and we were given instructions to fly the instrument approach back into Sanford. Luckily I had a head start in instrument flight training sometime back and I already completed my instrument ground school. So I flew my first actual Instrument Approach today 😁 I'm so happy I'm celebrating in my mind. What a way to start the day! #aviation#av8r#avgeek#pilot#pilotlife#ifr#instrumentflying
