Tomorrow will be DAY THREE of #yourworthiswithin • We ask that you post a hip opener variation that makes you feel CONFIDENT 🔥
AFFIRMATION: I am overflowing with confidence; my self-esteem is high, and I am powerful beyond measure. —
INFORMATION: Not only do hip opening asanas help with hip flexibility, but they also aid the body in releasing tight muscles; and therefore, reducing the physical response to stress. When you are experiencing negative and/or pent-up emotions, you body will tighten up; SO, to counteract this, hip-opening will allow the body to release and find freedom in the body.
IMPORTANT • 1) make note that you should feel a stretch but ZERO pain. 2) Protect your knee by keeping a neutral ankle. 3) Never let your knee extend further forward than your ankle. 4) Most importantly, just listen to your body. If your body is screaming for you to stop; listen!
CONFIDENCE is freaking tough. When you are doubting and judging yourself, it is incredibly difficult to feel confident; so instead, we make ourselves feel small. In doing so, we tend to also let other people treat us the same way. STOP. Maybe you don't feel confident today, but allow yourself to demand space in this world. Confidence doesn't have to just be a feeling; but rather, a way of being. Allow yourself to just BE; you are wonderful and you deserve to allow yourself to SHINE! ✨
