A few basics from back today. Superset: Wide grip rows/Underhand grip rows. 3 sets of 10. Single rows. I alternated 5 reps on each arm until I got to 15 on each arm. 3 sets. The rest of my workout:
🔸Wide grip pull downs 🔸Close grip pull downs 🔸Bent over single arm rows 🔸Back extensions
3 sets on 10 on all 💪🏻

I could do this all day.... #ohwaitido 🙄

🚫 Okay, let's just go ahead and acknowledge that this will massively vary from person to person based on a whole slew of genetic factors. These numbers are an AVERAGE at best.

📍Having said that, these are the six most common methods of regular aerobic exercise and the calories that are burned on AVERAGE per one hour.

1️⃣ Walking ~ 300-400 calories per hour 🚶🏻‍♀️
2️⃣ Running ~ 600 calories per hour 🏃🏻
3️⃣ Cycling ~ 600 calories per hour 🚴🏼
4️⃣ Swimming ~ 600 calories per hour 🏊🏼‍♀️
5️⃣ Rowing ~ 840 calories per hour 🚣🏼‍♀️
6️⃣ Jump roping ~ 1000 calories per hour 🏅

📍That said, HIIT gets honorable mention...but if you're able to do it for longer than 30 minutes, you're not going hard enough. That's why I didn't add it to the list.

I’ve been starting to get back into pull-ups and weighted pull ups and I can do about 15 clean body weight pull ups right now on my first set...after years of intense weight lifting, people probably think I should be able to do significantly more...but I’m not ashamed.
You should never be ashamed of where you’re at in your workout or in your life as long as you’re making a positive effort to improve yourself. Just like in life...it’s about growing, as a person, and in strength as a power lifter, or perhaps in size as a bodybuilder.
Take some time to reflect on where you’re at, and don’t be ashamed, rather aim toward improvement, and then move, go, do something about it.

No rest days. Legs twice a week. 160kg squats

So today I had the awesome opportunity to visit @americanbarbellclub and compete in an ugly Christmas sweater push/pull contest. Such a cool gym and today it was filled with some of the strongest people in the state, so the atmosphere was amazing. I worked up to a 415 bench (didn't get the video) and an easy 705 deadlift, which will be my opener in February. I went with 725 next but let it go as I felt my hands getting raw and didn't want to risk losing training sessions for ripped hands. Then I threw some straps on and the real fun started, 740 for a paused dead. Then after watching @drjskinner2315 pull 750×6 and then @jaffestrength pull 675×5, I had to get in on the cardio workout with my own 700×5. I am extremely humbled and grateful that I was able to lift and hangout with so many amazing lifters today, I can't wait for next year's event.

Core session i did this morning. This first video might seem a little odd, but don’t knock it til ya try it! I’m walking in a figure 8 with a kettle bell using my core to stabilize my upper body. It’s like carrying at 70lb suitcase around...your core has to work extremely hard to keep your torso upright.
