Finally! Authentic Japanese Shoyu Ramen with boiled egg 💕

I know Singapore has delicious Japanese Ramen, but I've never got a chance to try Ramen made by Japanese and in Japan!

Boy must I say that the shoyu ramen here taste really different from the one back in Singapore.

The broth is clearer and has a lighter taste than the one back in Singapore, but it was so fragrant and had such a strong umami taste ❤️

The Japanese really know how to serve up delicious food here❣️ Can't wait to try out more stuff

Don't be fooled by the simplicity of their Mee Soup. It is really a hearty soup simmered with mutton and mutton bones to impart to the overall aroma of the dish. The mutton slices are tender and delectable too 😄 .
Nasi Lemak is exceptionally fragrant tasted in its rice grains, coupled with crispy fried chicken and the succulent squid is really intense and fiery with its sambal. 🔥

Fried Bee Hoon is pretty humble here. The bee hoon's texture is chewy and moist, coupled with cucumber, chicken, eggs and sambal prawns. The prawns are really fresh and firm, which you could savour the meat without much fuss!

The heart of every Mee Soto is the soto ayam (chicken broth). The broth is made from chicken cooked with rempah (spice paste). This mild spicy broth is served with thick yellow noodles and finely shredded chicken for a perfect pairing! 😋

The Mee Rebus here didn't felt greasy at all. The gravy is rich and robust with every spoonful having a smooth consistency. The usual essentials such as eggs, beansprouts and lime juice give the whole dish a wholesome experience here.

Lontong is really satisfying here. It comes with a generous serving of vegetables, large chunks of lontong (wrapped rice) and a large piece of tau kwa (beancurd). The inclusion of serunding (light orange chunks of spiced coconut flakes) is really unique and savoury to me! 👍

Tahu Goreng is my favourite dish here. The tofu is nicely fried to a golden brown color and served with assorted vegetables and the peanut-sweet soy sauce based dressing. Couldn't stop munching on these 😂

By far the best salted egg chicken wrap that I've ever had 😻

I expected them to be very stingy with their salted egg sauce filling, but boy was I wrong.
The wrap has real salted egg sauce oozing out from each bite that I took ❣️
When I say "real", I meant that the sauce was made using real salted egg, not the powdered salted egg that's used in many salted egg sauces back in Singapore.

This salted egg sauce was slightly thicker and had the consistency of mayonnaise, but retained its grainy sweet salty taste ❤️
.
The chicken meat however was too small and too little here... I think this was where they were stingy on.

First time here, and can’t believe it’s taken me so long. These are an eye sprawling list of brunch items both familiar and unknown. Take my Spanish - poached eggs, corned beef and potato hash with brioche. Once sliced, the yolk flows into the mix of savoury corned beef and potato hash that then makes it ideal for spreading on top of the brioche. Yums. If you are into Mediterranean flavours, they do a mean Shakshuka (skillet of baked eggs in tomato spiced base) too

Love the furnishing of couches and sofas, along with warm, hushed slightly dim tones at night, so you can absolutely feel at ease relaxing over chats and the food.
