While my wife dined on her salmon I finished my pork chop also prepared sous vide using my @anovaculinary immersion circulator. Bagged and dropped for 2 hours at 140°F, I lowered the temp to 115°F and dropped the salmon for an additional 30 minutes for any easy two-temp cook. The pork was seasoned and given a quick sear on a smoking hot cast iron before being served with my sides...so juicy! ❤🐷👨‍🍳

Harissa Tandoori Chicken - This is a mouthwatering combination of Moroccan and Indian flavours. Tandoori chicken is an Indian favourite where the chicken is marinated in yogurt and spices. Similarly, chicken is marinated with harissa for Moroccan chicken. I mixed these two flavours and baked it with some veggies! .

Salmon prepared sous vide using my @anovaculinary immersion circulator. Perfection time after time. Bagged and dropped for 30 minutes at 115°F the salmon was season and given a quick sear for a little color before being served to my wife with a squash and carrot puree alongside sauteed mushrooms, baby book choy and spinach to complete the dish. I was given the 👍

Hoje resolvemos "almojantar" na Casa do Sardo.

Restaurante localizado no bairro de São Cristóvão, comida Mediterrânea com um toque Sardegno.

A casa possui um cardápio bem interessante, duas cartas de vinhos(uma Sardegna e outra com demais regiões/países), atendendo cordial e estacionamento bem em frente(não é deles).

1📷 Couvert alla Sarda(pecorino Sardo 100%, caprino, presunto de parma, mortadela italiana, grana padano, azeitonas e pães da casa?

2📷 Spaghetti alla Russo(omelete recheado com spaghetti à Carbonara)

3📷 Scaloppine alla Siciliana(scaloppine ao molho marsala acompanha gnocchi de baroa na manteiga e manjericão)

Couvert bem legal com tudo de muita qualidade, o spaghetti estava bem feito, não fosse a a quantidade excessiva de cebola(que diga-se de passagem NÃO faz parte da receita tradicional de Carbonara), ou seja, ficou aquele "ranço" de cebola crua na boca. O scaloppine estava muito saboroso assim como o gnocchi. A torta estava muito bem feita, sentia-se bem o gosto do limone, assim como deve ser.

Somando tudo isso, independente da falha do Chef na cebola, o restante é muito bom, uma boa dica naquela região. Vale a pena citar que as segundas-feiras eles não cobram taxa de rolha!!
