Today, Ivy wanted “Anna” hair. So, Anna hair she got.
It’s kind of rare that I actually do much with the kids of late.
Don’t worry, I already beat myself up over it enough. Your judgement is invalid.
I’m so acutely aware of how important it is to be an active person in children’s lives, not just ensuring they’re fed, butts are wiped, and teeth are brushed.
I mean, that’s a slight exaggeration. I certainly do more than that, but you get the gist. There’s no denying I could – and should – be doing a shit load more.
I have some pretty big goals and ambitions to strive for, and next year I plan to reach for the fucking stars and step out of my comfort zone like never before.
My entrepreneur mind will bring me some pretty wonderful experiences in my life; and this blog is just the beginning of all of that.
So, in the interim, I’m going to do everything I can to get my physical and mental health back on track and be a lot more present in my kiddies lives.
Even on the days where we wanna curl up in a ball cause life is being an asshole…
