My most vivid memory of these crossroads is of being on my way to summer camp, every summer all the way through high school. As I got older I passed this intersection for many other reasons, but it always makes me think of that mega excitement you get about things as a kid, when all that's ahead of you is pure fun and possibility. Adulthood has the option of finding that feeling again, even as we pass through the dampening weight of unavoidable pain and responsibility.
