One of my goal in 2018 is to develop the habit of working out min. 3 times a week. 💪It makes me feel good, it's a moment to focus solely on the present (it gives my mind a break) and it keeps me in shape. In short, it's good for the mind AND for the body! 😉
The thing is, I have a hard time with "consistency". I tend to start many things, but never end up continuing over a long period of time. 🙈 But, success comes from what we do consistently, NOT occasionally.
My trick was to go gradually and let myself adapt. In January I started with 1 day a week for 1 month. Then I added a 2nd and next month I will be adding a 3rd! I learned to treat my workout days as if it was a job and scheduled my activities around them. So this is my advice: baby steps! 😉
