I've been getting asked a LOT lately.. how do you stay motivated to workout even when you're in pain? Here's the deal. The 24/7 back pain has me stressed the EFF out. Physically and mentally. Anxiety is in overdrive wondering if this is going to be a life long thing I have to deal with. Exercise is the ABSOLUTE BEST anti-anxiety and de-stresser that I have going for me right now.
Today I got woken up at the wee hours of the morning (I consider the middle of the night! lol) after tossing and turning all night and the babe never fell back asleep. 😴 Got Kinsley off to school after a 20 minute struggle of not being satisfied with 3 different outfits. 🙄 #inserteyeroll Drove over 80 miles to run errands only to get to the store and have them be completely sold out of the 1 thing I needed. Spent another $50 on random 'arthritis' shit because I'm clearly determined to buy everything on the market at this point. (A lovely elderly woman recommended Blue Emu to me while I was standing there reading labels. 😂 Emu oil? Really?! 😳) Finished up 2 hours of shopping with a screaming toddler who's molars are coming in. I SO don't remember it being this bad with the first.. #holyhell Got home and FINALLY got her to sleep for her nap only to have to leave 15 minutes later to get Kinsley from dance. Cue 20 minute screaming car ride. Missed both calls I was supposed to have with corporate. Made a lovely dinner that Kinsley refused to eat and Kenna threw her entire plate of food straight onto the floor. Husband went to bed at 6:30pm with a puke bucket in hand.. 🙈 Afraid to even go check on him right now.. lol ... Then bedtime routine.. oh so fun with daylight savings time.. went to put them both down only to realize neither one had sheets on their bed cuz they both pissed their beds last night.. forgot to switch stuff from washer to dryer 😩 .. beds made and both asleep by 8...
.. and after that you think this Momma isn't gonna take an HOUR for herself to sweat it out?? Pfft. ✌🏼Ain't no shame in making myself a priority sometimes. Because if I don't sweat it out.. I'd be losing my shit a LOT more often then I already do!!
