WARNING! DO NOT USE PRECISION CARTRIDGE INC.
i knew that PCI has a bad rap, i heard many many times that there ammo is bad. But i decided to try since i figured any smart person would pull crap products and fix problem. Boy was i wrong, i am stupid for doing this. Long read but i need to explain.
By far the worst experience i have ever had shooting. Somehow when the round fires i get sprayed with powder, out of a gun known for its gas redirection. Nasty powder fouling completely covering the entire case even caking in the rim. Every round would not fire on first trigger pull. After every round i pulled the bolt and checked the bore, it was filled with nasty black smoke the hung in it. On the 8th roung i chambered, it felt funny but i fired, no bang, retracted bolt to find that it did not fire but left the round in the bore. Powder that didn't burn was yellow and smelt odd. Only round to hit target was tumbling, i heard the rest thud in the grass and not burm at 110yd. I checked squib round with micrometer, .264 as it should be.
I was pissed that pci would continue to sell ammo like this, someone can get hurt. I talked to @militaryarmschannel and PCI did lead to a broken part on one of his guns (not going give his info, ask tim for details). I contacted PCI to get their reasons for this crap, through email and facebook. I have included some screen shots of their responses. To some up what they told me -Pci have never had complaints on over 100,000 rounds
-cant find any bad reviews
-they act like @militaryarmschannel never made squib video on them (i sent a link to them 😉)
-implied i dont know a type 38 from a type 99... and that i need a gunsmith to determine... AS A FUCKING MACHINIST AND HAVE BEEN STUDYING MILITARY HISTORY FOR MY WHOLE LIFE THEY CAN GO FUCK THEMSELVES WITH GHOST PEPPER DILDOS FOR THAT COMMENT!
-question we i shot 7 rounds. Fair enough, but tried to give them a chance and surprised they defending themselves but question why i would use their product.
Thats just some of the story.
