Getting my legs back under me & coming back like I never left! 😅🏃🏾♂️💪🏾❤️🙌🏾 __________________________________
Today is 2 months and 4 days post surgery for my ruptured Achilles’ tendon. This may look like a little but in all honesty, this is a huge milestone along with a whole lot of PATIENCE, DILIGENCE, CONSISTENCY, SUPPORT, & LOVE! Huge thank you to everyone who has been nothing but loving and supportive in this recovery; i definitely couldn’t have done this well without you all. As I’ve said before, this recovery and come back is bigger than me, and even more so, this is for anyone going through any type of battle - just know that i have your back and will fight it with you, WE GOT THIS! 👊🏾❤️🙏🏾 _____________________________________
I know some of you are shocked and/or concerned about my progression into running/slow trotting. Don’t worry! I have been cleared by the doctor and physical therapist as they are very pleased with my progression. Today was the first day of testing full range of running motion in the ankle and foot while allowing some limited weight bearing through interval supported/non supported trots.
