Today I was testing to see how my pressing has come along. I did this workout early in the morning and did not eat breakfasts before... I was afraid I'd throw up.
My pressing over the last 2 years has taken a massive dive. But it was nice to see what I could do on no fuel. 225lbs bench press for 3 reps felt really nice. I think I could've done a couple more but I lifted conservatively.
I feel like my technique for pressing needs more improvement. In my next program, I'm prioritizing pressing both horizontally and vertically.
Here is the break down of the entire workout:
Bike warm-up - 10 mins
Ys and Ws - 6 each x 3
Bench Press - 95lbs x 3, 135lbs x 2, 185lbs x 1, 225lbs x 3
Sticky Press - 6x3 sets
OHP - 6x4 sets
Cable Flies - 12x3 sets
Cable Rows - 10x3 sets
SS x 3 sets: Tricep Kick Backs 10 reps w/ Band Pullaparts 12 reps
It was tough fitting everything in the short clip, but I made it work with some filming tips from @kyhansen !
