It's been a wild two weeks here with Wildwood. Two weeks ago we got a call from a company that was launching their new brand a week later at the Outdoor Retailers Winter Market convention in Denver, CO. They wanted one of our products for the centerpiece of their large booth, and it grew to us rushing to make a fire pit, 6 stools, a giant bar, display board, and large 12' header with their logo. We got it done, burning 12-16+ hour days just in time to drive the shipment half way across the country. Unfortunately, when we got there, we learned that the booth wasn't paid for and all 10+ companies involved with that company were left out to dry. Our products never got the chance to get on the floor. Luckily for us, the OR staff were gracious to let the innocent parties enter the show and we thoroughly enjoyed it and meeting each other. @sierranevada @rusticahardware @thestable and much more, it was a pleasure to meet you all.
Lesson learned was how hard we could push ourselves to achieve an almost impossible goal and give it all we've got. Even though we drove home feeling rather defeated, we gave it all we had, and it was an experience to learn from.
