Ahh it’s good to be back after a bit of a social media break. What have I been up to? I’ve been spending time away from creating content, launching the blog, and creating recipes. I can’t tell you how good it feels to take a step back and just breathe. I’ve spent the past few weekends snuggling my family, watching Netflix, reading, going for drives, lighting candles, and sleeping in on the weekends. We all need to recharge our batteries. I highly encourage you to unplug from your phone or computer, and have a few weeks and or weekends fully embracing Hygee. Here’s how I like to go about creating that unhurried and cozy atmosphere. First I deep clean my house, Second I put away my phone and computer, Third I light several of my favorite candles and turn down the lights in our home, Fourth I turn my interest to a book, magazine, or craft I’ve not had the time for recently.
