Do you try new recipes you see online ? I think everyone does. We see a great looking recipe and try it, only to have it fail miserably. This usually happens because of the difference in the quality and texture of the flours we use. For eg. The whole wheat flour in the U.S doesn't behave like our atta. I tried this bagel recipe. First batch was too dense and under cooked. Second batch I made changes to the recipe, baking time and settings to get a way better result. Managed to get a lighter texture with a toasty crust. This will taste so good as a simple sandwich. I love experimenting and playing around with stuff. Making variations until I get a version i'm happy with. I like to make sure my recipes are simple, quick and turn out well every time.
If you're trying new recipes be open to trying it a couple of times before you get it right. .
