2 Chronicles 15 : 7 “But as for you, be strong and do not give up, for your work will be rewarded” ✨
These pictures were taken the first time I went to the immigration office in dallas. I was nervous, my hands sweaty, getting mini heart attack’s waiting in my car. I’m the person behind the paperwork, the phone calls, and the late nights. Me actually meeting the officer who is behind the decision who will change my client’s life forever.. is frightening. However, when leaving the office later on, I was fortunate enough to be able to hug a new Resident of the United States.
With everything going on at the border and with families being separated, you start to lose hope in your practice, career, passion. But seeing your clients crying because after so many years.. the fear finally lifts, that’s what keeps me going. I pray everyday that I have the strength to continue pursuing this career. I pray that I can make a difference whether it’s with one client, or 100.
And you can too! Continue swiping on the pictures, and it’ll give you all of the information on how you can make a difference. No more likes on twitter or only retweeting the injustices. We must stand up, speak up, and resist. The time is N O W! ⚖️🔥
