I’ve been shooting a lot of street stuff downtown Boise lately. I can easily say that street photography has pushed me as an artist more than anything else. The confidence you need and even the fast paced nature of everything can be very challenging, yet it has pushed me to become a better photographer every day. Here’s a shot of a skateboarder I captured. I thought this was going to turn out horribly when I shot it but I had a pleasant surprise when I got the roll back. That’s the only downside with street photography: every shot seems like a failure, but that just makes it even better when you see the results.
