This is one of Bear 64’s cubs that I was fortunate to capture on film in his/her second summer of life. They had been feeding in a field of dandelions, taking ‘breaks’ to play when they had filled their bellies. This guy was getting full and kept looking at his siblings, wondering if they were ‘rarin’ to go’.
I was excited to come across this grizzly foraging in a field filled with lupines. The lush green grass and the purple flowers created an environment that to me, was nothing short of paradise. The bear seemed to share my sentiment as it stood up and took a long, contented look around.
