HOME WORKOUTS || You'd be surprised how easy it is to do a really decent workout at home without needing to build a home gym. I know I have more equipment than most, but the Vertue Method workouts from my book can be completely done AT HOME (or at the gym). I never believed in the concept of training at home until I moved to London and my work life became so busy I could not get a workout in unless I was at the gym by 5am or at 10pm. This lifestyle was wreaking havoc on my body, mind and sleep and I found myself either not working out at all OR depleting my nervous system so much that I stopped seeing results. By getting a few bits of equipment for the house I was able to get my sweat and booty burn on without detriment to my to-do list or adrenals.
Here is the cheeky leg circuit:
A1. Single Leg Hip Thrust (created by the infamous @bretcontreras1 who you should all be following for his brains, banter, booty knowledge and beard)
A2. Back-foot raised Lunge (could have gone deeper but was too tired - #thatswhathesaid )
A3. KB weighted high step up (I can perform this without hitting my head because I am literally 3ft tall, but it may not be possible in your home). Rep range will depend on your goals, but I went for 12-15 repetitions of each. The kettle bell only weighs 12kgs but by the end of 3 sets it feels like 20kgs. *To the troll/weirdo/confused punter that left a comment on one of my last KB hip thrust videos; No I am not making love to or humping a kettle bell, anatomically that would not be possible, nor would it be pleasurable #fitnessfact !!! 🙈My goodness there are some strange people on the gram. To be fair, I am definitely one of them, but I don't have time to leave creepy comments like that... 😎🤓 #vertuemethod #vertueliving #thevertuemethodbook #fridayfitness
