It's a snow day here and I decided to make Indian-Spiced Chicken smothered in Onions. It was a recipe out of my new "All About Braising" cookbook. Soooooo yummy! Tangy, spicy, savory! The sauce is a blend of onions, fresh squeezed orange juice, ginger, garlic, cumin, turmeric, cayenne (puréed in my Vitamix), and Greek yogurt. Half of the onions were puréed in the sauce and braising liquid. We will definitely try this again and with chicken breasts instead of thighs. .
