Ted and Harriette Perlman gave a gift of $1,100,000 to upgrade Sinai Health System’s Telemetry Monitoring Systems at Mount Sinai Hospital, which will have a profound effect on our ability to meet the needs of our patients—now and in the future. As patients require more intensive medical care, the telemetry monitoring system will add efficiencies, lower costs and improve patient quality and safety. We are grateful for the Perlman’s ongoing support—including their leadership gift of $1,250,000 that established the Perlman Transformation Fund, which has raised over $2,000,000 throughout 2015 and 2016 to help purchase critical pieces of new medical equipment.
