I’ve been making some changes to my diet this week!
-
I’m not doing anything drastic, but I have been changing up a few things and trying new approaches in order to maximise my performance in the gym and feel better physically (ie less stomach issues!).

It’s kind of cool that we can use ourselves as science experiments sometimes, in that we can trial different approaches and styles until we find something that fits just right.

Had a wonderful vacation with the family and wish I could go back to the sunshine paradise. Picture was taken the last day of the cruise at sea!
During the cruise I ate and drank way too much but that’s what vacation is all about right! After being sick for the past two days, today I start getting back to my routine of going to the gym and hitting my new macros.
I deserved the week break from tracking macros but I love structure in my life. Being in a routine with going to the gym and tracking macros brings me so much joy and stability. Do what makes you and your body happy!

Working! It was a really good pull day.
Kicked it off with 6x6 speed deadlifts with full resets (and switching up the switch grip each rep). Then some high rep RDLs, hip thrusts, sumo deads, and accessory work. Lots of sweat and burn. ❤️🖤

🍓Fruit does NOT make you fat. Not once, not ever (unless of course you eat 20 bananas and put yourself into a surplus of caloric energy - but that would be silly right?)

🍑Someone who is obese did NOT get that way from eating an apple a day! -
🍇Bigger picture, zoom out! We need to look at the diet as a WHOLE, and stop singling out specific foods, blaming them for obesity. If you are in a caloric surplus, you will store fat, that’s it. -
🍑Check your entire diet and see where you are consuming an extra surplus of calories (could be from liquid calories, oils, condiments, COOKIES) but most likely NOT from fruit. -
🍐Go on and input your daily intake into My Fitness Pal (with your best estimate) and let me know what you find. Where are those extra calories coming from? -

My new all time fav post workout snack!!! @fage Greek yogurt with a few drops of @traderjoes stevia and vanilla extract topped with purely Elizabeth granola. If this protein packed snack isn’t already a part of your diet you’ll want to go ahead and add it in!! It is a great source of Calcium, B12, Probiotics and more!!!

This is a hard one to post. 🙈. Going through pictures last night I noticed some big differences! I have always hated pictures taken from straight on. You guys.. this is carb face at its finest and my new found keto face on the top left! I finally have the neck forming that I’ve always wanted. That has been the reason of so many of my insecurities! The scale hasn’t moved in 6 weeks, inches shifted a little but keto face is shingling bright. 😍😭

Today was not my best day. 🤦🏼‍♀️. #overheadsquats are my LEAST favorite lift (swipe for a couple fails). This was at 65lb. Not Heavy at all. They are def my weakness. The @street_parking workout was supposed to be an EMOM(every minute on the minute) for 20 minutes or until failure. Well... I did an AMRAP(as many reps as possible). Oh well. I got lots of extra overhead squat practice today. 😅🤷🏼‍♀️💪🏻. #streetparking #streetparkingaloha #spjackedbyjune

This is my breakfast this morning - I used ASDA frozen Summer Fruits on top of Oomf! Bench Pressed Banana Pro-oats and it actually tastes pretty good. Didn't think they'd go with banana but that's all I had in 😂.
