gonna get real with you guys. I used to do plyometrics and cardio on a daily basis and I had abs as long as I ate super ‘clean’ 100% of the time. it became an obsession and I had nightmares about having a bite of pizza because it would ruin my ‘perfect’ streak. I was obsessed with the number on the scale, which after a year of this strict ‘healthy’ eating was too low, and I just wanted my thighs to be smaller. this was disordered eating. ⏩ fast forward to now: I’ve been lifting heavy and eating a LOT. I weigh more than before but I have more muscle definition! my thighs are big and I don’t care 🤷🏼‍♀️ I took this photo while I was in Hawaii (spray tan ftw 🙌🏼). I ate cheeseburgers and fries every night 🍔🍟 and when I got home I had actually lost weight 😂 having more muscle means a higher metabolism so I gotta make sure to eat ENOUGH now! I’m upping my weights and getting stronger with every workout now. next goal is to squat twice my weight 🏋🏼‍♀️🙌🏼 PS if you wanna learn more about lifting I recommend @natacha.oceane’s youtube channel! I learned a ton from her about fueling my body, and she’s strong as hell! 💗

Reminiscing on Wingin’ Out & Caribbean Grill like 😩😭🤦🏻‍♀️ I may not have found my soulmate in college but I did find a way to enjoy my favorite food 💪🏼 .
How am I able to enjoy my favorite food while on a cut and still lose weight? It’s pretty simple. I do intermittent fasting. Break my fast around 2-3 pm and have a 6-8 eating window, which allows me to have bigger meals! I still track my food and majority of the time have the flexibility to fit it whatever it is I’m craving. Do I fit in pizza, donuts, and a bag of Cheetos all in one day? Of course not 😂

I simply don’t deprive myself from all the good food the world has to offer 😊 Nonetheless, I eat pretty clean because I like to and I like to focus on my overall health, but that’s a lil tip I have for y’all if you find yourself crash dieting or dislike eating 5-6 baby meals a day! 🍗🥓🥨🥗🥟🍜🍣

I took my rest day yesterday so I had to get my workout done today! 💪🏼 Luckily I had six other girls to rock my workout with via zoom (FaceTime). I love this fitness community!

Current Physique ✨ As I said in my last post, the past 2 days I did not track my macros and ate to my hearts content.
I’m talking donuts, chocolates, chips alcohol....all the good stuff! 🍩

Did I lose all my progress? No!

After a few days back on track I will be
right back where I was before. I didn’t undo all my hard work and my soul is happy! 💕 I had the best weekend and don’t regret a single thing!

I reworked my macros for a more Paleo/Primal split and I am feeling SO much better. (But I’m still holding on to the occasional potato and cheese, I love my cheese lol) I have zero joint pain (and that’s with arthritis! No pain!), my daily aches and pains have almost completely subsided, and my energy is through the roof. I tried working in a couple sugary treats within the last 3 weeks because I was craving them and I had a splitting headache and felt like garbage the entire next day. 🙅🏼‍♀️ Totally not worth it to feel this good!

NSV today, some may not think it’s a big deal, but I haven’t wore shorts in probably 10 years, that is to wear out in public. I’ve had cellulite and zero tone to my legs whatsoever. 🔥ALMOST CALORIE FREE VEGGIES 🔥

Those veggies are basically calorie free, meaning that they contain really low amount of calories and most of the time, and in low quantities you don't even need to count them. They are also rich in vitamins, minerals, very fulfilling and therefore great for fat loss. 👌

Its a good idea to stack up on these while trying to lose fat because you'll be able to eat them in huge quantities while not consuming too many calories. Some of them are also high in fiber, and fiber has been shown to keep you full longer period.
