65kg to end my prep with bench for States. This is an equal training PB, but tonight I hit it with a lot more ease and confidence! 🤗Possibly had another 2.5kg in me, but I'll put away the ego and maybe leave it for the platform.

There are bound to be those days when we get defeated. Supposed to hit a PR on bench today. Stuck to the programming, nutrition is on point, had enough water and rest but it just didn't happen.

Had an MR Arthrogram on my hip the other day to help figure out the issues I've been having with my left hip. I have a feeling I may have a posterior labral tear. If that is the case, I have 2 options;
1) Surgery and then bench only for 6 months
2) PRP and lay off squatting and deadlifting for about a month
If 2 is possible with the size and location of the tear, that is what I will be doing. Otherwise 😁🔫

My 3 bench press attempts from yesterday. It was a big let down missing 132.5kg - something I was hitting doubles of in training.
Looking at the videos the bar was hitting in all different places. Just a bad day with my pressing yesterday!

In approximately years time I've been able to add 55lbs to squat, 5lbs to my crap-tastic bench and 60lbs to my deadlift. Might not be the greatest, but I'm having my fun with the sport. Finally I put up a bench video! 85% Squat 5x4@225kg and Poverty Bench 5x3@140kg this week.
