Brussels Sprouts progress! These plants have proven to be extremely hardy, lasting through several nights of hard frost and sleet with no damage. This is happening, people. I am finally going to succeed at growing and eating my own Brussels Sprouts.
These sweet anemones are workhorses here on our #specialtycutflowers farm- they just won’t stop blooming their little heads off even though we’ve sustained highs of only 40s during the day and teens in the eve. These are some of this last season’s bed that we left in the ground and were happily surprised when they perked back up & started showing their cheery faces. We’ve been so consumed with finishing the studio, wreath workshops & tasks getting the farm ready for winter that I’m still planting gobs more of these pre sprouted beauties & ranunculus in every gorgeous shade of cheer & romance. This Spring we look forward to seeing our current efforts awake from their cozy winters slumber and usher in the abundance to come. #farmerflorist#localflowers#bendflowerfarm#inbend
