Today is day three on my juice cleanse with @totalcleanseca - and although I enjoyed an incredibly delicious lunch yesterday, since
Friday, all of my meals have been juices. 🍋🍓🌱 It's not my first rodeo, I've been doing juice/smoothie cleanses for a few years now, usually
twice a year for three days and I always look forward to them (I don't see it as deprivation), because I love how I feel afterwards!! I think everyone has a different take on cleanses. For me personally, it's always been about committing time to rest, rejuvenate, and fill my body with incredible goodness! It's also an actionable way that I recommit my intention to take good care of myself, so I can take good care of those around me.
Self-care comes in many different forms, listening to your mind, body and soul will help you find the best ways to take care of YOU!
Here are some ideas: -Take a soothing bubble bath
-Read a few chapters of an enjoyable book (that isn’t over stimulating)
-Do 10 minutes of stretching or yoga
-Apply a facial mask and lay down for 5-10 minutes, while listening to soft music
-Go for a walk or run
-Paint a picture
-Make a hot tea and put your feet up
-Take a 30 minute gentle exercise class
-Spend time cuddling with your spouse, kids, pet
-Practice prayer or meditation for 5 minutes in the morning and evening
