We over-cautiously arrived at the crack of dawn to catch our morning train from Beijing to Ulaanbaatar. I was immediately impressed by Beijing Station, a living reflection of the Soviet past. .
Normally when I traveled on the high-speed rail to Beijing, trains stop at the newer station in the outer rings of the city. It’s a rare treat to see this old station, and preps us well for the Trans-Siberian journey! 🚞
