Left👉🏼 21 (or 22) years old, drinking almost everyday, little to no exercise, no idea what I wanted in life, no goals or motivation, working fast food, eating like shit, no confidence.
Right👉🏼25 years old, max drinking 1X per week, exercising 5X per week, no cardio, setting weekly goals, independent personal trainer, dieting but still having a healthy relationship with food, happy and confident, mother to 1 amazing boy. ✨I’m not where I want to be physically or mentally but pictures like this are good reminders of our own successes within our OWN individual journeys. We all struggle guys. I can tell you that in the picture to the left I was one sad, lost girl. I knew I needed a change in my life and I knew I needed to put my focus into myself and my health. It was the best decision I have ever made. And guess what? I’ve still had struggles in between the pictures... only difference is I value myself and my life enough to kick back into gear and not give up because I have goals to achieve. I have a son that looks up to me. You are in control of your life, make the most out of this one life you’ve been given. ✨

Shockingly low calorie dinner & dessert! 😍👌 These are the types of meals I was talking about in yesterday's post, low calorie foods paired up to make a ridiculously satisfying meal. ■Burger (Dublin Meat Company) on a slimbo & 250g of homemade chips, served with mashed carrots, turnips, brocolli & gravy.
526 calories & 38g of protein 💪
To make the chips:
■Cut potatoes into wedges, rinse in cold water & put in the microwave for 10 mins to soften. ■Spread out on a dish/tinfoil & spray with 1 cal spray. Season with herbs (basil, parsley&season all). Mix around to coat fully.
■Cook in the oven for 15-20 mins until they brown. ■The burger is the new slimmer burger (150 cals). I usually get the bodyfirst protein burger or the lean muscle burger. These are 208/228 cals, going for a lighter option before holidays. Tesco have a 6 pack of burgers that are very good calorie wise 183, so a good option but 13g of fat, whereas these ones have 0-4g. ■Slimbo instead of burger bun.
■Big bowl of veg, I always prep a big batch of carrots and turnips at the start of the week. A big bowl of gravy (10g of granules).
Weetabix pancake (Only 158 cals, 17g of protein):
This is a random one & can look very messy but it is RIDICULOUSLY good and low cal. ■Mix a weetabix, an egg white, toffee drops & a drop of water in a bowl. Add to the pan after one cal spray. It will stick a little so move it a little before flipping over when it cooks on one side.
■Here I served it with 100g of Greek yogurt & strawberries. It is even nicer with frozen raspberries. *You could add banana etc. if u wanted.
It tastes like a warm brownie type dessert.
This meal ticks all the boxes for a Friday night. It was a huge, satisfying & tasty. And yet it is also healthy, high in protein & low in calories. This last month has been hard and my eating has been off more this month than ever, but I have hit my fitness goals every week and reigned my eating back in. I could focus on the negative and how I am not where I want to be, but right now I am going to smile at these 💪🏻 and say ✌️ to my negative thoughts.
