I've never had much interest in getting close to bugs, even before I took up photography, but over the last few weeks the damselfly have been all over the riverbank in Castleconnell making it very easy to get up nice and close. Absolutely amazing to watch hundreds of them fly around at once. If only my reflexes were fast enough to catch a few in flight!
You know you're in Cork when you see this in Macroom - well it would hardly be Guinness then would it!
So I had my first outing with Malahide Camera Club this evening organised by@tonymurraypix.(check out his gallery👌👌👌)Of course I was the only one without tripod &probably would have learned a lot if I hadnt been running around the place.(officially become a member in September😃) Very enjoyable &lovely group😊 Ps.
