Two different federations, two different posing styles, same signature colour 😊
Back to back peak weeks, and today marks the start of my third peak week in six weeks.
Peak week can be a stressful time, as you’re literally trying to get your body in “peak” condition for show day, and more specifically, the Exact Time on the day you’ll be on stage.
Carb and water manipulation are two strategies that work for me, and the workouts typically include higher reps with less intensity to deplete the glycogen out of the muscle stores before refilling with carbs the night before the show. Also, lots of steady state cardio (aka walking or elliptical) where I catch up on all my Netflix shows...how crazy was the Shooter finale?!
Only one more week until the @icnqld Worlds event and I can’t wait to give it everything I have...for the third time ☺️👑
