Pokémon movies are the type of movies that just seem to be able to make you happy, in a nostalgic sort of way and as the artwork for these movies was always pretty good. Now, I’m sure that there are more then a few of you who back in the day watched Pokémon on tv and maybe even caught a few of the movies at your friendly neighborhood cinema. Well to those people I hate to be the one making you feel just that little bit older but with Pokémon the Movie: I Choose You! they have rebooted the franchise and started an alternate continuity. Now before you fling something across the room because the taste of the last Hollywood reboot is still fresh in your mouth, this is not a Hollywood reboot, it seemed that there was a lot of care and respect was put into the movie’s production and from what I can I tell there seemed to be more than a few people in the cast and crew who had been involved with previous Pokémon productions.
The movie is a loose retelling of the original Kanto League saga of the show, unlike some of the other Pokémon movies it did not seem to have some kind of message and there was probably only a handful of scary scenes that might worry younger viewers who are being introduced to the franchise and to those parents who catch up on house work while their kids watch movies, you might want to stop what you doing and watch the end of the movie with your kids.#pokemon #pokemonmovie #ichooseyou
