It snowed all night last night in Lake Louise and I was stoked for another awesome pow 💥 day on the slopes ⛷ Right after the ski 🎿 clothes were all in the precipitation was no longer frozen.
The powder from the last few days slowly turned to a more cement like stuff down in the village, the kind of stuff that is famous for grabbing your ACL and giving it a painful yank.
Had there been a season pass in hand it would have been worth taking at least a couple runs. The rain 🌧 was enough of a deterrent to stay off the slopes.
Instead it was a white knuckle drive part way up the Ice Fields Parkway. The rain on top of fresh snow on top of a layer of ice made the road a bit of a bobsled track in places early in the day.
Did some hiking in the knee to waist deep snow up by the @ntjlodge up by Bow Lake. A light rain and fog stuck around for most of the day but did lift enough to get a few reflection shots in the mostly frozen lake.
