The wonderful #yogaforallsenses challenge has come to an end and I feel so blessed and gifted through all I learned in these seven days. I enjoyed it so much to see all the wonderful posts of the hosts @malamalamajewelry , @yogastadl and @iwona_yoga , but also of all the other participants. There is so much bliss and creativity out there which makes me so happy and gives me hope ❤️ For this final day I chose Shavasana to end a wonderful experience as it is usually done at the end of a Yoga session.
Shavasana is intended to rejuvenate the body, mind, and spirit. In Shavasana, practitioners’ breath deepens, and the stress of the day is released. The yogi forgets all other thoughts and surrenders any psychological effort. While in Shavasana, yogis slip into blissful neutrality and reflect on the practice.

Thank you so much Christine, Iwona and Sabine for making this possible. You truly enriched my life ❤️❤️❤️

Last day of the #yogaforallsenses challenge. Today we are featuring our seventh Chakra, the Sahasrara Chakra or Crown Chakra.

The crown chakra is the seventh chakra. Located at the top of the head, it gives us access to higher states of consciousness as we open to what is beyond our personal preoccupations and visions. The function of the Crown chakra is driven by consciousness and gets us in touch with the universal.

1000 petals Mudra (text copied from @yogastadl
's post):
This is the mudra of a thousand lotus petals.
The crown chakra (Sahasrara) means the Lotus of a thousand petals.
By performing this mudra above your head you can help open the gateway to universal consciousness.

I enjoyed this pose so much. It calmed my mind immediately, grounded me, took me out from my daily chaos. Definitely something I will keep on practising especially when my toddlers are burning down the house 😂 Thank you so much @iwona_yoga for the inspiration 💜😘💜 Sixth chakra is holistic in nature. When this chakra is fully activated, both hemispheres of the brain function in synchrony. The right hemisphere's creativity and synthetic thinking is integrated and balanced with left hemisphere's logical and analytical thinking. The Third Eye is not only the seat of wisdom, but also a seat of conscience. This is where you not only see what is going on, but you also know what it means. This is where your sense of justice and your ethics originate.

When your third eye is open, you not only see but you also understand.

Day 6/7 of the #yogaforallsenses challenge. Today's Chakra is our sixth Chakra, Anna or Third Eye Chakra.
The Third Eye Chakra transcends time. It is located in the brain, at the brow, above the base of the nose. The gift of this chakra is seeing - both inner and outer worlds. The energy of this chakra allows us to experience clear thought as well as gifts of spiritual contemplation and self reflection.Through the gift of seeing we can internalize the outer world and with symbolic language we can externalize the inner world. The energy of Ajna allows us to access our inner guidance that comes from the depths of our being. It allows us to cut through illusion and to access deeper truths - to see beyond the mind, beyond the words. The "way of the third eye" is seeing everything as it is from a point of "witness" or "observer", or from simply being mindful - moment by moment.

The Mudra I learned today from the wonderful @yogastadl is MAHASIRS MUDRA. According to @yogastadl 's description this mudra is particularly good for sinus headaches. It is also calming, centering and clears your head bringing clarity.
For more information on this mudra and it's benefits please visit @yogastadl site.

And this is how reality sometimes looks like 😂
Photobombed by my toddler while practising today's asana inspired by @ashtangatemple.
This challenge is really a tough challenge for me while taking care of my two toddlers. But it also feels so good doing something for myself, every day! This is the first time in five years since I became a mother that I am doing something for myself seven days in a row! I am already very proud of myself and so happy I accepted the challenge 💙💙💙 I just read that the gift of the throat chakra is accepting your originality, expressing your authentic voice and speaking your truth.
So, here I am 😊

Day 5/7 of the #yogaforallsenses challenge. Today's Chakra is our fifth Chakra, Vishuddha Chakra or Throat Chakra.

The Throat chakra is the fifth chakra. Located at the center of the neck at the level of the throat, it is the passage of the energy between the lower parts of the body and the head. The function of the Throat chakra is driven by the principle of expression and communication.

This chakra is related to the element of sound. Through the throat, sound is propagated into the air and its vibration can be felt not just in our ears, but also in our whole body. It is an important instrument of communication and expression.

The Throat chakra is about the expression of yourself: Your truth, purpose in life, creativity. Note that this chakra has a natural connection with the second chakra or sacral chakra, center of emotions and creativity as well. The throat chakra’s emphasis is on expressing and projecting the creativity into the world according to its perfect form or authenticity.

Another function of the throat chakra is to connect you to spirit. Because of its location, it’s often seen as the “bottleneck” of the movement of energy in the body.  It sits just before the upper chakras of the head. Opening the Throat Chakra can greatly help align your vision with reality and release pressure that may affect the heart chakra that is located just below.

The throat chakra is associated with the etheric body, which is said to hold the blueprint or perfect template of the other dimensions of the body. It’s an important reference point to align the energy through the whole chakra system.

Day 4/7 of the #yogaforallsenses challenge.
Today's Chakra is our fourth Chakra, Anahata Chakra or Heart Chakra.

Last year I started intensely working on my chakras. The first blockade I became aware of was in my Heart Chakra. It was also the time when I discovered @malamalamajewelry 's incredible work. I ordered my first of her Malas, the Everlasting Hope Mala to help me on my way. A bit later I also got myself the Mother Earth Mala as it was shouting my name 😊 Mother Earth Mala is the one fitured in today's pics for this challenge. They both helped me a lot to de-block my Heart Chakra and I still wear and use them regularly.
But let's have a deeper look into this Chakra:

The fourth chakra connects the lower and upper chakras. In other words, the heart chakra acts as a center of integration of earthly matters and higher aspirations. Far from seeing these energies as separate, the experience of the heart integrates them effortlessly and harmoniously.

The Heart chakra is all about connecting and relating. The emphasis here is on love, giving and receiving, and how open we are in relationships. Love is the energy that helps transfigure emotions and experiences. It’s an essential element in any relationship, whether it’s is with others or oneself.

Love experienced through the fourth chakra is not just about romance, but about going beyond the limitations of the ego and personal preoccupations to open up more fully to compassion and acceptance of all that is, as it is. When we live from our heart and our heart energy is opened and balanced, we can see clearly and position ourselves in any situation, no matter how challenging it is, with discernment and compassion.

The heart chakra is also a center through which we experience beauty in life. Seeing the world through a balanced fourth chakra is being in a state of openness and acceptance that brings us in touch with our world and ourselves in profound and fulfilling ways.
The Padma (Lotus) Mudra helps us open our Heart Chakra. See @yogastadl 's post on this Mudra for more information 💚

Today's asana inspiration ist taken from @ashtangatemple - the boat pose. I remembered how much I like this pose when I saw her post and it was easier to do for me than @iwona_yoga 's suggestions (sorry love, I keep on practising your poses without camera, promised 😘). The Manipura Chakra is the “City of Jewels” in which we find the pearls of clarity, wisdom, self-confidence and wellbeing. Their lustre radiates down to the lower Chakras as well as up to the Heart Centre (Anahata Chakra). The feelings of love and happiness that we feel in our heart actually originate in the Manipura Chakra and rise from there to the Anahata Chakra. The positive radiance emanating from the Manipura Chakra also purifies the Svadhishthana and Muladhara Chakras and their qualities.

Self-awareness and self-confidence are other pearls of the Manipura Chakra. Until we discover these pearls within us and raise them into the light we live in constant fear – fear that we will not be loved, that we will be a failure, fear of becoming ill, of dying, etc. Many of our fears are produced by blockages in the Manipura Chakra.

The Manipura Chakra is closely connected to the psyche. Psychic problems frequently give rise to digestive problems. For example, many people react to fear or stressful situations with abdominal pain or diarrhoea.

Day 3/7 of the #yogaforallsenses challenge is dedicated to our third Chakra, the Manipura Chakra or Solarplexus Chakra.

I started the day with a deep inhale of lemon oil, inspired by @yogastadl 's post about this chakra. It is such a happy and uplifting fragance, I should makes this my daily routine!
Today's Mudra is Rudra Mudra. This Mudra helps to govern and activate the Solar Plexus Chakra. It is believed to the Ruler of the solar plexus chakra. This Mudra affects the glands in the abdomen. It develops heat and energy in the body. Thanks @yogastadl for this information and inspiration 💛

The Earth is our Mother. Our body is formed from her elements and she supports and nourishes us. We should always be grateful to our Mother Earth and demonstrate our respect by protecting and caring for her.

In line with the Divine plan we humans should be protectors of the earth, not its destroyers. Our duty is to develop sympathy and love for nature and all living things.

I stand tall. I am grounded. I am connected. I am.

Day 2/7 of the #yogaforallsenses challenge is dedicated to our second Chakra and trying to do the asanas for this Chakra recommended by @iwona_yoga gave me a really tough time. Before starting this challenge I was already aware that this Chakra is the one I have to work most on as I recently discovered how blocked it is. And as a proof I was not able to do any of the shown asanas and you don't want to see the pics I took while trying, trust me 😂 So I went to find inspiration from other participants in this challenge and found @khaos_and_yoga and her goddess pose who was not only doable for me but also reminded me of the pose in which I gave birth to my first child. I love this pose and will practise it to solve my Svadhishthana Chakra problems 😊

I have changed my Instagram account name to #iamnotayogi as people start judging you on your food habits, your personal choices and lifestyle as soon as they come to know that you are a yoga teacher. I know people judge all the time weather or not you are a #yogateacher but I have particularly found some reactions really loud and annoying as if they have the right and experience to define #yoga. This particular post is vibrating with negative energy and I don't like it but that's how I feel right now and may be this is one of the phases of a #yogateacherlife .
I am gonna keep doing #yoga no matter what.
