Snow days are for reading, and cuddling, and laughing. Snow days are also for doing extra chores, with pajamas hidden under snowpants. But it’s going back inside, near a hot stove to warm up, just to go back out again to finish shoveling that last bit of snow. It’s taking our time to read one more page (or ten), eating when our bellies are hungry, it’s waking up the baby to go on a walk NOW because the sun is out. Snow days are a magical time, when schedules and time don’t matter.
