Getting into a better groove with eBay! I know these numbers are sad next to many of yours, but it's the highest my 31 day total has been. 💵 I've learned some hard lessons with eBay for sure though. 1. Auctions rarely, if ever, do well for me unless it's a very hot ticket item. For now I'll be doing the vast majority of my items at BIN. 2. I have learned to really reign in my spending and be very selective with what I buy. I really try to only buy items that I believe will sell at a decent profit. My goal is to get to an average sale price of $50 or more. 3. Having a continuous sale has really boosted my sell through rate. 4. I have not seen any difference in offering free shipping vs paid shipping, and I've tried both. So I do paid shipping. 5. I saw a huge boost in viewing traffic when I started offering free returns (shipping paid by me). 6. I photograph in big batches and then list a few each day, mostly in the morning or when I'm with my kids at the park or running errands. It fits my busy mom lifestyle :) 7. Turning on best offer was definitely a huge boost to my sales, and it's really helped move items along that would otherwise sit. Anyway, just a few eBay lessons I've learned that work okay for me. :) what works for you guys?
