. . For many years now, many of us have been coming to @MuscleBeachSouthBeach to work out and hang out with friends. . . Some come every day, on their days off, weekends only and some whenever they are in Miami. It’s been a place people go to clear their minds after a tough day or long week.
A place where you can get the endorphins going and getaway from reality for even for just a moment. . . .📷11yo Owen was visiting from Minnesota stopped by with his family and he had a blast at the playground and learned how to do the #humanflag. #Musclebeachsouthbeach brings out the kid in all of us from Kyle and @oriana_norton who are 3yo to Sal Cappi who is 96yo. . . . . The bars we came to enjoy and that have been so good to us since 2011 are now gone. . . But the ESSENCE OF MUSCLEBEACHSOUTHBEACH IS #US !!!!!! !
We will have new equipment soon but the fun, fit and healthy family and community is stronger than ever.
My way of training for human flag, these ain't easy at 205, the long term goal is to do FLAG PULL UPS: -Slow negatives for many sets -Flag holds with one leg tucked for several sets -Wall handstand push-ups for many sets until failure, don't worry about going deep, focus more on going down slow and the lockout because the flag needs straight arms -Also several sets of pull-ups, and leg raises
Workouts like these I lose count of my sets, just focus on strength and take breaks so that you know you can finish a set. 🎧: Dave East - Around Here
