Making your own dressings and sauces is a huge money savor and they take no time at all! Store bought dressings are often full of highly processed vegetable oils, weird stabilizers, and sugar and the ones that aren’t cost an arm and a leg. Throwing together a simple vinaigrette is something that we should all be able to do!
- 1/3 c extra virgin olive oil
- 1 T dijon mustard
- 3 T vinegar (balsamic, white wine, red wine)
- pinch of salt
Whisk until well combined! From here you can add other seasonings, dried herbs, a little lemon juice, or whatever else you’d like. Get creative with it!
This makes enough for 3-4 individual dinner salads and stores really well in the fridge if there is any left over!
